Launch of new hair treatment!

I am excited to announce I have just started offering a new service, a hair treatment called Vitaplex. Before I decided to offer this, I probably had many of the same questions you may have, which I will answer in this blog post.

What is Vitaplex?

Vitaplex is a hair treatment that is designed to improve the internal strength of the hair which prevents breakage. When it is used during chemical services it helps protect the hair from damage. It also helps with the longevity of colours. It helps the hair to feel healthier, by repairing exisiting damage. It also improves shine,

-How does it work? Is it a gimmick or does it have scientific evidence?

"The biomimetic RAV-19 COMPLEX actively reconstructs damaged areas of the keratin structure by replicating & replacing the 19 amino acids that can be destroyed during chemical services and excessive heat styling. Effectively restoring the hair to its natural state."

How Vitaplex works inside the hair.

-Is Vitaplex as good as Olaplex?

Yes!

It actually contains an additional ingredient RAV19 that other 'plex' treatments don't have, It mimics the amino acids that form the hair, in the sequence they naturally occur.

-Are the results permanent?

No. It isn't possible to permantly 'fix' internal damage to the hair, but Vitaplex replicates the internal bonds of the hair that are missing or damaged. In order to maintain the results, you can use a home maintenence kit, which is a shampoo and conditioner, or just a treatment, to use weekly, in between hair appointments.

-Can you notice an improvement?

I also wanted to know if my clients would be able to notice the difference. So I decided to conduct my own research and offer the treatment for free, to a group of my regular customers, who I felt would benefit from it, in exchange for their honest feedback. Here are some of their responses.
